Magic Trackpad from Apple Unveiled

Aside from the iMac, Apple also unveiled another gadget: their newest input device the Apple Magic Trackpad.

Similar to trackpads found inside Apple laptops, the Magic Trackpad serves as an external, multi-touch surface with the swiping and pinching features made popular by the iPhone.

According to PCMag.com., like the internal trackpads, the Magic Trackpad “supports up to four points of touch, but the device is 80 percent larger. It’s powered by by two AA batteries and connects to Apple laptops and desktops via Bluetooth.”

This latest device has no software included, so users need to have OS X 10.6.4 and the Apple Magic Trackpad Software, which can be downloaded.

Interested Apple fans can buy the Apple Magic Trackpad at $69.
