Melissa Etheridge’s ex goes for full custody
Days after singer Melissa Etheridge files for the dissolution of her domestic partnership with Tammy Lynn Michaels, a custody issue brews.
A report from People.com states that the two former lovers might end up is a custody battle as Michaels files for full legal and physical custody of the 3-year-old twins, but allows visitation rights for Etheridge. Michaels is also seeking spousal support.
The singer, on the other hand, had filed for joint custody.
Entertainment source TMZ.com, reports that a lawyer for Michaels said that the singer has also deprived her client and the kids money since the break-up.
Michaels’ lawyer, Steven Knowles has also cited that Etheridge cannot be a meaningful parent because she has a hectic schedule.
