Motley Crue front man arrested for DUI

Vince Neil, the lead singer of the heavy metal band Motley Crue, was arrested in Las Vegas for Driving Under the Influence (DUI).

Entertainment source TMZ.com reports that Neil, whose full name is Vince Neil Wharton, is currently under the custody of the Clark County Jail. His bail is said to have been set at $2,000.

The American vocalist and musician gained fame when he had joined the band Motley Crue in 1981. Neil has also been known to be friends with fellow rock and roll super star Tommy Lee, who became instrumental in introducing him to the members of Motley Crue.

Before Neil’s arrest, he was seen hanging around at his Las Vegas restaurant “Vince Niel’s Tres Rios Cantina.”
