Next James Bond Movie Set for 2012 Release
Yes, it is finally confirmed. James Bond is back in action and is gearing up for a November 9, 2012 release.
Reports indicate that MGM has confirmed the production and schedule of the 23rd Bond film. It was also confirmed that it would be the third installment for actor Daniel Craig to don the popular British spy suit.
Craig, 42, took the role for the films Casino Royale in 2006 and Quantum of Solace in 2008.
The new film will be directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes and the script will be written by John Logan and Bond veterans Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.
Production of the movie was stopped during the previous year because of MGM’s financial troubles. The company however announced that it has emerged from bankruptcy last December.
So the next question is, who will become the next Bond girls?
The upcoming 23rd Bond film will coincide with the Bond franchise’s 50th anniversary. The first film, Dr. No, was released in 1962.
