NFL: New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills

The New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills will both be shooting for victory this evening (8:20 p.m. ET) when the AFC rivals collide at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

The last time these two teams met, Buffalo was on the winning end of a 16-13 overtime thriller in the NFL Week Six.

This is the second straight year the Bills will play a regular season home game at the former SkyDome. They have scheduled this match in Canada to try to boost declining profits and figure to have a sell-out crowd now that the CFL betting season is over. But as of noon, seats were still available through the Bills in Toronto website.

Buffalo will be playing a total of five games up north— one per season through 2012—but the experiment did not begin well last year, with a lot of fans supporting the Miami Dolphins in the Bills’ lame 16-3 defeat on December 7.

UPDATE: Mark Sanchez threw a touchdown pass before injuring his right knee as the Jets defeated the Bills 19-13 for their second straight victory in the NFL.
