NFL Playoffs: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys
Tonight, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys will square off in Texas for the NFC Wild Card game of the NFL playoffs.
It’s the third meeting of the season for these divisional rivals, and unfortunately, the first two didn’t go so well for Philadelphia. The 24-0 loss in Week 17 kept the Eagles from clinching the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye. Andy Reid and his men instead are the No. 6 seed with no chance of a home playoff game.
In that game, Tony Romo threw for 311 yards with a pair of touchdowns and one interception, while Felix Jones rushed for 91 yards and a TD on 15 carries. And tonight, the Cowboys are in position to win a playoff match for the first time since 1996.
The match kicks-off at 8:00 p.m. ET.
And by the way, this is the 8th time in 11 seasons coach Andy has taken Philadelphia to the playoffs. In the first seven trips, the Eagles are 7-0 in the games to jumpstart their postseason.
Who do you think will win tonight?
UPDATE: The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 34-14 to advance in the NFL playoffs. Romo silenced his critics by turning in a 23-of-35 passing performance, good for 244 yards and two touchdowns.
