Nik Pace sues Braylon Edwards, seeks child support

“America’s Next Top Model” finalist Nik Pace is suing New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards. Edwards secretly fathered a child with Pace and now asking the footballer up to $70,000 a month child support payments, reports NY Post.

According to the report, when Pace gave birth in July, the Jets receiver filed to be recognized as the father in Georgia, where the child was born. Pace responded by suing Edwards in New York, with her lawyer Raoul Felder claiming that the Georgia filing was a “cold, calculated act to pay less money” because Georgia is “traditionally less generous with child support payments.”

Randy Kessler, Edwards’ lawyer, said, “Braylon is a proud father who has loved and supported his child since before he was born. He filed in June to declare himself the legal father and she objected.”
