Premier League: Chelsea vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers
The Blues will be determined to get their Premier League campaign back on track when they face Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium this afternoon (15:00 UK).
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy described Chelsea as “arguably the best in the league” but having beaten Tottenham and held both Liverpool and Aston Villa at home, his side has good reason for wary optimism.
John Terry has returned to the Chelsea line-up for today’s Premier League match after being given compassionate leave by the club. However, Cole, Alex, Essien, Bosingwa and Deco are all injured while Frank Lampard has a virus and is expected to be fit enough to travel to Italy for their Champions League clash with Inter Milan next week.
UPDATE: The West Londoners moved four points clear at the top of the Premier League after they defeated Wolverhampton 2-0, thanks to Didier Drogba’s double.
