Premier League: Manchester United vs. Stoke City

Stoke City will host Manchester United in an exciting Premier League clash this afternoon.

While Tony Pulis says his boys respect the reigning champs, they will give it a go at the Britannia Stadium. The Stoke boss has led the Potters to tenth place in the EPL standings at this stage, and early indications suggest they could even finish higher than their final placing of 12th last season.

United are still without Edwin van der Sar, Rafael and Owen Hargreaves, while Ben Foster will start in goal for the Red Devils after being given a public vote of confidence by Sir Alex Ferguson.

Stoke will miss Amdy Faye and Mamady Sidibé.

Game time is 3:00 p.m. BST (10:00 a.m. ET).

UPDATE: The Red Devils are back at the top of the EPL on goal difference after their 2-0 victory against Stoke City.

Ryan Giggs replaced Nani early in the second half and quickly set up a simple opener for Dimitar Berbatov before curling in a superb free-kick which John O’Shea glanced home.
