Premier League: Manchester United vs. Fulham

Premier League champions Manchester United can go level with Chelsea at the top of the standings with a victory against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

However, the Red Devils have been hit by an injury crisis in defense and Fulham boss Roy Hodgson will aim to take advantage of that.

Sir Alex Ferguson has at least five defenders sidelined through injury, while Nemanja Vidic is struggling with a calf problem sustained on their 3-0 home win against the Wolves. Wes Brown, Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, John O’Shea and Gary Neville are all expected to miss out once more.

Currently 9th in the EPL table, the Cottagers are very tough at home. Five victories and only 2 losses is very good for an average team, but compared with Manchester’s reputation and form, that record can be mean nothing.

UPDATE: The boys from Old Trafford suffered their second defeat in a week as they were humbled 3-0 at Fulham, thanks to goals from Danny Murphy, Bobby Zamora and Damien Duff.
