Rapper T.I. Released from Prison
Rapper T.I. is headed to a halfway house to finish an 11-month sentence for violation of probation after he was released from a correctional facility on Wednesday.
According to MTV, the “Whatever You Like” rapper left the Forrest City Correctional Facility in Arkansas around 7:29 Wednesday morning, ending a prison term that began November 1 last year. The 30-year-old rapper is not yet totally free as he will still finish the remainder of his sentence in a community living facility.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr., did not waste time before announcing his release through social media site Twitter, where he talked about his new found freedom. “Feels great to be back where I belong…Back in the arms of those who need me the most,” he tweeted. In another tweet, the rapper suggested that he’s reformed. “The storm is over & da sun back out. IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!”
