Sony Ericsson’s Latest High-end Phones Experience Technical Problems

Sony Ericsson continues to have holiday troubles as its latest high-end phones keep on having technical problems. After model Satio was pulled from all branches of UK stores Carphone Warehouse and Phone4U, model Aino is generating reports of technical inefficiencies. sony-ericsson-aino

It was only last Tuesday that Satio was pulled off the shelves after Sony admitted that “a small number of consumers have experienced software issues with the phone”. Apparently, Satio seems to shut down when users try and launch certain applications, and it seems that there isn’t a downloadable fix just yet.

Playstation 3 remote control capable Aino is having troubles with its touchscreen features. It is probably caused by a software issue which was admitted by the company. However, Sony is claiming that only a few units of Aino has the problem.

Both models are using Symbian OS.

Satio and Aino were advertised together with Kita (or Yari in some places) as a boost for Sony to bounce back in the lucrative mobile market being dominated currently by Apple iPhone and Google Android.
