Taylor Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” was not allowed to consume sugary treats in order to gain muscles for the upcoming film. The 17-year-old actor says he misses eating ice cream very much.

“I really miss ice cream,” Taylor said. “My favorite flavor is actually cake batter. It’s really good but I can’t have it. It’s torture.”

Taylor also revealed that he is “embarrassed” by his publicity pictures.

The actor poses topless in promotional pictures for “New Moon” and admitted he didn’t want his family to see the images.

He said: “It’s embarrassing for me. And I’m sure it’s awkward for all of them. I’m hoping that I don’t get teased by my family because I’ll start blushing.”

“Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke told Access Hollywood at the 2009 Crystal and Lucy Awards back in June: “He’s totally worked hard for it so he looked great.”

“New Moon” will be released in U.S. theaters on November 20th .
