This bra is older than your grandmother’s double-barreled slingshot
Archaeologists have uncovered four 600-year-old bras hidden away in a medieval palace in Austria. You may be thinking: “What’s the big deal?” But this discovery is important because the brassiere has long been thought to be a relatively modern invention. Found in Nikolsdorf’s Lengberg Castle, the bras were among thousands of 15th century textiles unearthed in 2008, but the discovery only recently become publicly known.
