Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ New Trailer
The second trailer for director Tim Burton‘s hotly anticipated take on Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland has been released, instantly becoming a trending topic among fans in and around the intertubes. The new trailer presents exciting, new scenes from the upcoming film, which is due to be released on March 5, 2010, and it also gives viewers a general idea as to how the plot of the movie will go. Watch the madly awesome (Yes, it is mad and awesome.) below:
As suggested in the trailer, the movie is not a direct adaptation of the children’s novels by Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Rather, the movie is an extension to the events that happened in those two stories, with Alice, now 19, returning to the magical place called Wonderland. It will no doubt be interesting to find out how Burton and his chosen band of actors, including Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and newcomer Mia Wasikowska, took advantage of a clever combination of live action and motion capture technology to tell their reimagination of Alice’s beloved story.
Just like the millions of people who became more eager to see the movie after watching the trailer, I simply cannot wait.
