Today is Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day

If you have a sweet tooth, and a taste for kids’ charity, today (August 13) is made for you because Dairy Queen is hosting their annual “Miracle Treat Day.”

For every blizzard bought, no matter what size, at least one dollar will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network—a non-profit group that raises funds for children’s hospitals, medical research and community awareness of kids’ health issues.

Last year the program raised 4.5 million dollars nationwide. According to organizers, the goal this year is to beat last year’s mark.

Miracle Treat Day runs all day, until the store closes on August 13th. It’s the perfect excuse to not only get some tasty ice cream, but to help out youngsters who face health problems.
