Two and a Half Men Gets Back Charlie Sheen
Actor Charlie Sheen will be returning to the hit comedy series Two and a Half Men for two more seasons reversing previous decision that he will leave the show.
The announcement came from his publicist.
“To put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I’m looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights,’ he said.
Reports last month indicated that he was seeking a new contract to continue with the show where his fee will be a million dollars per episode. His contract that expired last April 9 sets him at 825,000 USD per episode. Details of the new contract were not disclosed.
CBS network refused to make a comment. It is set to release its fall 2010 schedule in two days.
Two and a Half Men has been in the air for seven seasons already.
Sheen, 44, has been nominated for Primetime Emmy Award for his role in the show,which is that of Charlie Harper.
