United Arab Emirates vs. Manchester City
The Citizens are in Abu Dhabi this evening to take on the United Arab Emirates national football team in a friendly competition, a fixture which is to be held every season from now on.
Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has not yet attended a Manchester City game since buying the club last year, but he will finally get a chance to see them live tonight.
Midfielder Stephen Ireland and striker Craig Bellamy are expected to be the main attractions of the visiting club.
Meanwhile City boss Mark Hughes has hinted Robinho could make his comeback when they face Liverpool later this month.
The 25-year-old Brazilian striker, who is being persistently linked with FC Barcelona, has not played for the Citizens since injuring his ankle on international duty in September.
UPDATE: Mohammed Al Shehi scored the winning goal in the ninth minute to help UAE beat the Citizens 1-0.
