UEFA Champions League Live Stream Chelsea vs Spartak Moscow

Chelsea vs. Spartak Moscow Live Stream: Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is set to take charge of his 100th UEFA Champions League game as the Blues take on Spartak Moskva (Moscow) at the Luzhniki Stadium tonight in another exciting Group F clash.

A win for Ancelotti’s side would all but seal qualification to the knockout stages of the tournament following a 4-1 opening victory in Zilina and a 2-0 home triumph over Marseille. However, Russia’s 80,000-seat arena is the scene of Chelsea’s disappointing defeat in the 2008 final against Manchester United, who won the match 6–5 on penalties after the game had ended in a 1–1 draw.

During that game, the West Londoners were once again extremely unlucky as Didier Drogba was sent-off, Frank Lampard struck an awesome left-footed shot only to see his attempt hit the bar and John Terry slipped on wet grass and missed the decisive free kick. Still, Ancelotti does not believe Terry will be affected by his return to the stadium, saying: “John has great experience so I think what happened two years ago has no effect on him.”

Spartak, last year’s Russian Premier League runners-up, have been in great form in recent weeks, as they are currently on an unbeaten run of seven games in all competitions. The Red-Whites, unfortunately, will be without Brazilian attacking midfielder Alex after he was ruled out for two weeks with an injury.

The match kicks-off at 18:30 CET.

UPDATE: The Blues maintained their perfect record in the Champions League with a 2-0 victory over Spartak Moscow, thanks to goals from Yury Zhirkov and Nicolas Anelka. You can watch the second leg of the game HERE.
