Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies: The 2010 Winter Olympics will start with the opening ceremony on February 12 (Friday) and will end with a closing ritual on February 28 (Sunday). Both of the celebrations will be held at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada.
Opening and Closing Ceremonies are unique, large-scale celebrations capturing the spirit and personality of our city, province and country, and are a celebration of the world’s greatest athletes.
For those who want to be at the event, here’s a tip from the organizers:
1. For the Opening Ceremony gates will open at 14:00.
2. For the Closing Ceremony gates will open at 13:30.
3. You are asked to be in your seats by the start of the audience participation rehearsal at 17:00 for the Opening Ceremony and 16:30 for the Closing Ceremony.
