Watch Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials
On Sunday, February 7th, the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints will collide at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida for Super Bowl XLIV to decide the NFL champion for the 2009 season. However, recent studies show that millions of viewers enjoy the Super Bowl more for the commercials than the actual game.
For those of you who say “I only watch the game for the ads,” here’s something for you. CBS will air a show called Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials tonight (Feb. 3) at 8 p.m. ET, and this is a great warm-up for the ads that will be featured during the NFL championship game. It will be hosted by Jim Nantz of CBS Sports and Lara Spencer of The Insider.
The show will count down the 10 greatest Super Bowl commercials from the past 10 years, which will vie for the number one spot.
CBS announced earlier this week that it had sold out all of its Super Bowl ad airtime, and a source at the network said that some 30-second commercials were sold for more than $3 million.
