X2 iTablet

First of all, X2 is a British company and is not affiliated to Apple at all. They maybe just want to grab the name “iTablet” for some reason after Apple named their very own tablet as “iPad“. So what is the iTablet anyway?

According to electricpig, the “iTablet” sports a 1.6GHz Intel chip, a 250GB hard drive, 3G, Bluetooth, three USB ports, a 1.3 megapixel camera, an HDMI out and will run on Windows 7 OS. Pretty decent specs isn’t it? But what’s the catch?

Having all that netbook-like features under it, the damn thing is pretty thick at 35mm. It’s almost an inch-and-a-half thick and I bet it’s pretty heavy (for a tablet).

This thing will be out by April 2010.  The price is yet to be announced.
